Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) wants to inform providers that effective June 1, 2025, practitioner applications will be done through the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Provider Data Portal. To streamline this process, we will no longer accept paper applications after June 1.
CAQH Benefits:
- There is no cost for physicians and other health care providers to use the CAQH Provider Data Portal.
- Web-based provider data platform, enabling providers to enter their professional and practice information once and submit it to multiple health plans, reducing administrative burden and speeding the credentialing process.
- Simplify the credentialing and recredentialing process for practitioners.
- Easily manage your profile and documents in one secure location.
Starting today, providers can submit their credentials to BCBSND via the CAQH Provider Data Portal. Please note, this process is for practitioner provider level only. Facility applications will still follow the standard application process using the online forms.
If you have not already registered with CAQH:
- Register at https://proview.caqh.org/PR/Registration.
- Update your profile, authorize BCBSND to access your profile and re-attest by June 1, 2025.
